Culture Shock
Just as the United States is regarded as the "melting pot" in the world due to its citizens from every corner of the world, Shanghai, one of the biggest international metropolis, can, similarly, also be known as the "melting pan" in China. Since this previous small village was traded to Britishman 150 years ago by Qing Dynasty, thousands upon thousands people from every corner of the world have been rushing to this hot land to try their shots, which has turned this small village into one of the larggest cities in the world. We moved here, settled down, started our new life and had chances to know guys from other places. We share different cultural backgrounds, customs and living habits, which frequently makes us not understand each other and causes some problems between our communications. Unarguably, everybody has his right to live his own life, disregarding other's opinions and everybody should learn how to be of tolerance when facing the culture shock. Culture shock isn't only an international stuff, but an interprovincial stuff as well
My dear friends:
Have you ever experienced any culture shocks in this city?
How will you handle them?
What do you think of the culture shocks?
If there's sth that is beyond your tolerance or principle, how will you deal with it? will you be acceptable?
Come on and share your stories with us, just at the Cherry Pavilion of Zhongshan Park.
